In 2004, I started a little sustainable fashion project where I hosted clothes swapping events to enable the ladies of Melbourne to swap the clothing they were not wearing for the a 'new' wardrobe and these events found a lovely new home at Federations Square in 2010.

Visitors can enjoy the regions many attractions including walking trails, rivers and waterfalls, fishing, boating, camping and ski field activities set against picturesque mountains and rolling hills.

There is an inward focus within the community, but we also make sure to fully cater to the needs of people who are passing through as well.

A beautiful 90 minute drive from Melbourne, Lake Mountain is Victoria’s newest natural theme park. It provides families with year-round action and adventure that creates lifelong childhood memories.

With a small permanent population we are not able to cope with everything which needs to be done. We need all the help we can get.

The natural beauty of this region is what we love about this area. The proximity to Melbourne means that it is very accessible for visitors, while still feeling miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Marysville is now modern, fresh, light and airy, and a peaceful place to be. There is a renewed energy in the area, which is a good sign of things to come.
