After a hectic 12 days in Echuca for our daughter’s wedding we waved the last of the guests off.

I finally had a chance to spend some time by the river while my wife enjoyed a much needed massage.

I hooked my first legal size Murray Cod with much excitement but had to swim it up and down the river to keep him fresh until my wife came back with the car and plenty of ice.

I had a sore back, no beer but a great catch.

I arrived in Echuca with my daughter.

When I left, I had ended up swapping a 5 foot 4 inch bride for a 70 centimetre Murray Cod.
