Whether it is the landscape, the footpaths or the more obvious art installations, walking along the River Terrace at Federation Square there is art everywhere you look.

While the view along the river is beautiful in itself, the artworks make for an interesting and sometimes educational walk.

As you pass through Birrarung Marr national park you are faced with the immense sculpture of the two-headed Angel as well as more subtle representations of the Indigenous culture such as the indented designs in the footpaths.

If you are travelling further towards Flinders Street station it is extremely hard to miss the Red Center. The large sculpture represents fire and light through its bright red, flame like spikes coming from the ground. Placed on the side of the footpath it gives commuters something to look at that is a stark contrast to the industrial views all around them.

Every piece of art along the walk has a story and a purpose, and they work to entertain as well as educate commuters about the Indigenous culture as they travel to and from Melbourne.
