Michael Duncan and Mary Bridget Allen met on the ship Jordic which left from Southampton in November 1950.

Their ship docked at Melbourne on January 4th, 1951 where they disembarked, starting their new life together. They were married at St Ignatius Church in Richmond early in 1955 and later that year gave birth to their first child, Mary.
