Shakil Ahmed and his friends have made a long journey to watch Bangladesh play in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.

This year is the first year Bangladesh has made it into the quarter-finals and there was no chance in the world that Shakil was going to miss it.

He flew down from Sydney for one day to watch the match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

“That’s nothing,” Shakil says, “my friends have flown all the way from Bangladesh.”

“Back home, 160 million people are excited about this match. My parents, they are 60-70 years old, they will be praying: oh please let Bangladesh win.”

“This is the best (Bangladesh) team ever… We are going to win.”
