My Grandma’s dad came from England in 1952 to come coach the Australian Olympic Socceroos in 1956.

I’m very proud of my great grandfather who has now obviously passed away.

On my Dad’s side my grandfather fought for the British army in World War 11. He was a pilot and when the war finished he came over to Australia. He came over in 1946. He passed away in 2005 because of bowel cancer.

I’m proud of my great grandfather and my grandfather.

My great grandfather is great role model because he came so far so he could have a job coaching soccer. I hope he was remembered when he died and he will always be remembered as part of history.

My grandfather fought in war for Britain and he only passed away little while ago. I don’t remember him but from what I’ve been told he sounds very nice and stubborn. When he got medals he didn’t accept which is pretty funny because if you got a medal for fighting in the war I’d take the medal. All he kept was a jacket.
