The Melbourne Latin Summer Festival is run every year and celebrates multicultural aspects of Latin America, as well as Latin America’s environmental, social and economic issues.

This year, the festival focused on the deforestation of the Amazon, as well as the upcoming Soccer World Cup.

There was a Latin Festival happening! At the time the air was full of the rich aromas of Latin street food and the buzzing of beautiful Latin Musicians. There was colour and happy faces washing in and out of the crowds of festival goers, as well as a fantastic atmosphere. The experience was absolutely incredible and I was lost in a jumble of Latin culture. What a fantastic event; I will most certainly be back for round three next year!!
