The International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship (Melbourne Region) comes to its 13th year in 2014.

It is considered to be one of the biggest events among Chinese Community in Melbourne and we were very proud to have it for first time at Melbourne’s Federation Square. There is a big population of Chinese in Melbourne and the effect this event has on them is significantly large. From the very beginning until the end of the event, we attracted more than 200 contestants to come and join the competition. The awareness of this event is unprecedented.

The winner of the event got the chance to represent Melbourne and fly back to Hong Kong and China to perform at the grand final competition.

Our Event is founded on 3 objectives:

1. Music is a universal language. Raise awareness of Chinese Music Culture and spread on to Federation Square and to the public.
2. Encourage youth to sing and to have a positive attitude.
3. Create a platform for the young to collaborate in a professional environment and to showcase talented young artists preparing to break into the performing industry. (Crown Event Management came to the grand final night and selected some of the talented contestants to perform at their event).
