In 1915 Australian-born physicist, William Lawrence Bragg and his father William Henry Bragg won the Nobel Prize for Physics.
The duo were awarded the prize for their discovery of the x-ray technique for investigating the structure of crystals.
At 25 years old, William Lawrence is the youngest ever winner of a Nobel Prize.
