Sage Technology keeps workers safe in hazardous industries

Since its emergence into the market 14 years ago, Sage Technology has been keeping workers safe in Australian and international hazardous energy industries. Founder of the small business is Lynda Bertoli who employs some 30 staff. It’s an Australian grown and owned brand, catering to a need for a robust and rigorous system across many sectors, Power, Mining, Oil and Gas.

While competitors are mainly overseas, Ms Bertoli puts the success of Sage Technology down to being an innovative company that embeds isolation management best practice into its products. But most importantly, Ms Bertoli says is that the brand prides itself on making sure whoever goes to work, works safely.

“Our products protect plant and protect lives by making sure that risks associated with working in industry are identified and controls put in place and that no-one works on plant that is still in a dangerous condition,” Ms Bertoli says.

Isolations and permits are required for industrial workplaces in sectors like power stations, oil and gas facilities, mines and factories.

Ms Bertoli is excited about the company’s plan to provide their products from the cloud on to mobile devices that can be used any time, any where across a wider market, here in Australia and globally. This niche area of business can only be a good thing for the economy, with an increasing need for safe, effective technologies in place for the rest of the world.
