Harry Kane will be aiming to put his World Cup demons behind him and help Tottenham damage Arsenal’s title hopes this weekend.

The north London derby looks set to be a crucial game in the Premier League’s title race as the fierce rivals face off.

Kane will be out to dampen Arsenal’s title hopes this weekend

Spurs welcome the Gunners to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium unbeaten in their last eight home derby games.

Their last victory came in May last year when a Kane brace was followed by a goal from Heung-Min Son to secure a 3-0 win.

Antonio Conte’s side now have the chance to make it four on the spin which is a feat they have never managed before.

Although to do so, they will have to prevent Arsenal from completing the league double over them for the first time since 2014.

In their opening clash of this season, Mikel Arteta’s men ran out 3-1 winners with Spurs’ goal coming from a Kane penalty.

Tottenham have won 13 penalties in the north London derby, scoring 12 of them. Kane has netted seven of these, with no player scoring more from the spot against a single side in Premier League history.

Kane will look to bury his England woes and continue his impressive penalty record
